We are searching for multi-unit foodservice and retail operators, as well as other investors who have a history of business success. Other franchise candidates are also encouraged to apply, but will be required to have either experienced, qualified restaurant operators as part of their teams, or must complete our extensive training program.
We are looking for individuals who will embrace the Arby’s mission. While franchising is a key component to building the Arby’s brand, we are looking only for those who believe in the importance of attracting and retaining customers through our high standards and a belief in the Arby’s brand.
Financial Requirements
Liquid Assets* $500,000
*this includes cash, stocks, notes receivable, retirement accounts and real estate equity.
License Fee
Traditional Unit $37,500 and $25,000 for each additional unit
Royalty Fees
Traditional Unit – 4% of gross sales
Market development fees – for exclusive development agreements
$10,000 per unit (applies to license fees)
Advertising fees, contributions and expenditures
Franchisees must pay an advertising fee of 1.80% of their gross sales to Arby’s for the national advertising fund.
Franchisees must spend at least 3% of gross sales on local store marketing for their franchised restaurants.
